Buckingham Township covers a lot of ground between Doylestown and New Hope, and it is one of the few parts of central Bucks County where properties are still measured in acres rather than square feet. Much of the township is under agricultural preservation, the road network still follows the old farm routes along Route 202 and Route 413, and the landscapes reflect that.
Working here is different from working in a development. The scale is larger, the sight lines are longer, and the design problem is usually about how a property reads from a distance rather than how a single patio functions.
